What Cairnvia does
Artificial intelligence health care tool. Every patient story, learned. Every patient, in the right place.
01
Cairnvia’s AI tool reads the referral & history
Faxes, scans, PDFs, typed and handwritten notes, phone intakes — read as they arrive, with nothing retyped.
02
Prioritizes patients for the scheduler
A clear priority, timeframe and provider type on one card — so the people who book can act with confidence, and the sickest patients will be seen first.
03
Summarizes for the physician
A pre-visit smart summary with the history, risk scores, tests and the gaps worth asking about.
We stack the stones. The physician places the last one.
Cairnvia reads every referral, prioritizes the patients, and prepares the physician for the visit. The decision stays where it belongs.
A cairn is a man-made pile of stones purposefully stacked, often used as a trail marker. The word derives from the Scottish Gaelic càrn, meaning “heap of stones.” Via is Latin for “the way.” For centuries, travelers have stacked stones to mark a safe path across open ground, so the next person doesn't get lost. Cairnvia has created an AI tool which marks the way for every referred patient – to the right care, at the right time.
Founded by cardiologists who have lived the referral queue.
Cairnvia was founded on three realizations: patients' access to high-quality cardiology care was getting harder, scheduling was often inconsistent and disconnected from patients' clinical needs, and physicians were spending too much time after hours preparing for new patient encounters. We felt that those problems were linked and that we could solve them.
